It's very modern day fairy tale/adventure/romance. 2.) Annie Hall- Woody Allen's all time best film dissecting a couple's relationship, jumping in time and place to various moments in their life. 3.) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind- This film made me cry the first time I saw it. Makes you appreciate the pain that comes with love. 3.)Before Sunrise- two strangers meet on a train and decide to get off of it together and spend the day in Vienna.
4.)Before Sunset- It's sequel, documents a meeting between them for the first time 8 years later. These two are hard to summarize, but very entertaining and sweet to watch. Also very true to life in what it would really be like to spend a day with a stranger you're attracted to. 5.) Harold and Maude- I've seen this film a million times and I cry everytime.
It's about an 18 year old boy who doesn't know what to do with his life and constantly being pressured by his mother to 'BE' a certain way. He ends up meeting a quirky and lively 80 year old woman who he starts spending time with and eventually falls in love with. Very very funny and sweet.
Shows you how refreshing love can be when you find someone who let's you be yourself while also bringing out the qualities in you that you didn't know you had. Best Answer: I don't think that any one single movie can ever be called 'the best'. And opinions will of course differ greatly. There is a semi-official consensus among film critics that 'Citizen Kane' is the greatest film ever made, which has led Roger Ebert to quip: 'So it's settled: Citizen Kane is the official greatest film of all time. This movie is also top of the AFI 100 Movies.
100 Years 'best of' list. Yet even the critics differ. On IMDb, the voted best movie is 'Shawshank Redemption'; AMC filmsite voted 'Casablanca' as the best movie of all time; Rotten Tomatoes voted 'Toy Story 2' as the best.
