Warband German Patch

First off, forgive the usge of the icon for the old Blood & Steel module before it was revamped. I've lost the original module icon a long time ago.
Mount & Blade Warband: Viking Conquest [Deutsch/German](HD) #008 - Eine kleine Jagd! You will need the full version of Brytenwalda 1.4 (Special Edition) to use this patch. To install: simply paste all files from the patch to the Brytenwalda 1.4 folder. Ladies and gentleman it has been several years now since the beta release, and I afraid with the long development time of the successor mod by this projects coder I have to bring the news to you that for the time being chances of this module being revived by the people who created it are very very low. I know some of you have been loyally following and voting for this module all these years hoping for a Phoenix style revival and it would be cruel to keep you guys hoping. The reason I finally decided to do this as every few months I see some activity on the page with the odd poor soul asking for a bug fix or informaation. I am afraid it might be it for this variant of attempt at moving the timeline forward a bit for Calradia, at least for the 18th and early 19th century. Due to the loss of the module trying to recreate this mod from the ground up is a daunting task, especially when balancing our early custom scenes and OSP so I understand why despite several offers to attempt to keep things going have fallen through. Thankfully despite it's age the Warband modding community is still delivering.
L'Aigle will be updating soon, Sayazn just released with 3.0 and a Warband Boshin War era mod set in Japan is going through it's first release alpha. For those who like firing old guns in over the top uniforms in tight formation you will not starve. I am confident the Victorian successor mod Frenzied and onewildtexan are working on will be a success and worth the wait also as the assets both of them are producing are excellent. I do heartily encourage any eager modder to try and tackle such a setting, a 17th to early 19th century mish mash for Warband would still be a fantastic idea and setting worth tackling.
With so many mods that rarely venture past the fictional era or the 16th century with Warband you will always spark some form of interest. I wish you luck and don't be afraid to contact me with (non coding or modding:p) questions about the background or ideas. If you are willing or eager to datamine some of our created older assets from previous versions of the module I can give an older version of the module I have saved but you must get permissions from the OSP holders first. Consult our list of assets used in the FAQ section. So with a final wave a bicornered hat I let this long soldering mod resign from it's service and thank you all for the support and assistance through the years. Maybe somebody will make a better one for Bannerlord eh? Sadly we cannot, as the core module was apparently lost in between computers.
Which is why we've not had any amateur Warband modders take over and continue the project. I am sad to say only the basic assets and lore are up for grabs. They'd have recode and build everything up from the ground up and make some pretty tough choices (some of the OSP scene and object stuff sadly clashed and hit the module hard) If you ask the creators of 1805 for base M&B, the original Calradia Imperial Age modder and the Twilight Of The Sun King/Red Wars guys for permission before hand I am sure they'd say yes.
UPDATE: Have pushed this out to release on Steam now. Will patch for non-Steam soon. Hello all, We have updated Warband's exe (application) file as a beta on Steam. This is compatible with the old versions and should simply fix one or two issues with Native that occurred in the previous version. Changelog: -controller support fixes -pathfinding fixes -improved performance in the main map for Viking Conquest Just as a reminder, here are instructions on how to enter the beta branch on Steam: To select this, you need to right click on 'Mount & Blade Warband' in your Library, open the betas tab and enter 'betapassword' then press Check Codes.
Then select the beta from the dropdown menu. You may need to close and restart steam for the download to begin. We plan to release this within an hour or two, providing everything is working properly.
Im finding other kind of bugs like: -Archers wont follow my commands, they only follow me when i order my army as only infantry -In my refuge i cant se the stats of the staff im hiring, so i dont know if im hiring the right one -some textst appear with a sudden 'DEBUG -' text inbetween the words.im supposed to find some West Seaxe guy near Stonthigaham to give him the letter from Brjorns camp, but the area is controlled by Mierce and no West Seaxe guy to be found. Ill update if i find more. Thx for the updates!! Originally posted by:How about you give us the option to opt out of your patches?
Some of us just want to play mods and your forced patching kills our ability to enjoy the game. Thats something you should consider trough steam, and steam only can affect that (this happens with every single game since steam forces the latest version on everything, they dont give up on that one for some reason) one way you can opt out from patches etc is to get the taleworlds own version, use the CD key you have in steam, and download the game from their own site. You can play whatever patch you like. After new patch (in beta and 'release' versions) in my old saves (VC) Party Info and other Info button shows a gibberish instead of real info! In new game (VC) - no BIO. Dear developers!

As far as you made all your customers - free (for you) betatesters, please, show some respect to us - make new patches for BETA VERSION only, do not spoil normal release 1-2 days at least, let us to test your 'patches' if they broke the vanila or add new bugs at least! Not all bought VC DLC - why they should suffer?

Warband Mod
Its a steam problem, not theirs. Its how steam works with the updates (steam has only one release version and one beta version, they need to do it like that in steam version since steam itself rejects any other way of working with it.) And you can counter it if you just go and register your version in the non-steam version at Taleworlds website. Originally posted by:Look what i wrote upper. Its a steam problem, not theirs. But Talewords made 2 (two) versions of main exe file here on Steam - common and beta, it is switchs in properties of the game in steam library. Microsoft usb 2.0 driver download. And download it everytime on switch. It was made just after VC DLC - for getting tests for it. Here on Steam actually is 2 versions of MnB! And they ASKED us to use it. And I bet 80-90%% of common MnB gamers do not have any idea about Talewords site and how to get another version.
