Hi Shashank, Many thanks for your message and feedback. We do much appreciate it. The style switcher is coming in couple of weeks. Due to the high requests for the release of Unify v2.0 we were not able to include it. However, It is already ready and we will soon implement ASAP. Moreover, with the new style switcher you will be able to generate theme CSS file and use it. However, Unify comes with fully SASS support and we highly recommend using SASS for theming as It will not add any additional CSS codes, It just changes the color in all CSS source code.
Please do let us know if you have more questions. Kindest Regards, Htmlstream. Hi, Many thanks for your message. We do much appreciate it.
Unify v2.0 comes with fully SASS support and you may change the theme color with the editing a single line. We do not recommend to use a separate CSS file for theme colors as It is not DRY principle which means If you use you will repeat and overwrite existing codes. However, we will soon add a style switcher where It automatically generate theme colors, It is like mini theme builder. Meanwhile, please feel free tor each us at support@htmlstream.com If you need any help to change the theme colors or have other questions. Kindest Regards, Htmlstream.

Hi Guys, first of all, fantastic job with unify 2. I am aware, that there are still many things to do for this project. So, i just start to create a small project with the new unify 2 and i struggle a bit. I set up compass for the sass compilation. If i run the watcher, i receive following errors: error Resources/Public/Assets/include/scss/themes/custom.scss (Line 49: Invalid CSS after ' height: ': expected expression (e.g. 1px, bold), was 'calc(100% - 4') what do i have to do to make it work. Do you use a other processor then compass?
It looks like that the is the problem. But this is only one of many appearing. How to setup a working sass environment? If i want to customize the class u-heading-v2-3—bottom for example, where do i have to do it, because i can’t find the class to override it. Did you remove the 'go to the top arrow'? How can i add a boxed design? How can i create a sticky footer?
Many questions, i know but it would be great if i would get any glues to fix my issues thanks Ludwig. Hi Ludwig, Many thanks for your message and feedback. We do much appreciate it.
We use GulpJS to automate our workflow such as compile SASS, concatenate &minimize files and others. Therefore, we would suggest you to check out GulpJS as It's very easy to use and we will soon include GulpJS package with documentation how to use. We were in rush to lunch v2.0 Unify as there were huge requests to release and for that reason we could not have a change to bring more detailed documentation.
However, currently all of our team is working so hard on documentation and missed features from v1.9.x Unify and we will push new updates in regular weekly base. Meanwhile, please contact us at support@htmlstream.com to get help with SASS and any other questions and our support team will help you. All the shortcodes SASS sources are included and located in the following paths: 1. Please check out our documentation regarding the CSS(SASS) structure, we provided information about our CSS Methodology and how It can be helpful and efficient in our cases than any other CSS Methodologies. In addition, as mentioned above please contact us at support@htmlstream.com for any support related questions and our team will help you. Back to top and boxed layouts is coming in our next update, they are already ready just needs to test carefully and include them.
We are looking forward to hearing from you soon. Kindest Regards, Htmlstream. Hi, Thank you for your messages. No, we did not overwrite any layout styles of Bootstrap.

Kindest Regards, Htmlstream. Hi, Many thanks for your feedback and suggestion. Well, Bootstrap 4 has been in alpha versions over the 2 years and it has been used by millions of websites already. Also, it is on the final stage of alpha version and we believe there will be only minor changes.
We assume Bootstrap 4 will be released very soon. Moreover, once Bootstrap 4 releases any updates we will quickly integrate latest updates to Unify with ease as Unify 2.0 was started from the early stage of Bootstrap 4 and we do not see it could be a problem for us or our customers. Regarding the price, please note we put lots of afford on v2.0 Unify and there were 4 Senior Front-end developers and 1 UX/UI Designer worked full time on the latest update of the project over a year. In addition, we were selling Unify v1.9.9 for the price of $7 and the sales was almost two weeks. We've never promised any builder that will be released soon or near feature. However, we do have interest for it and will consider doing this in future as currently there are lots of things we would like to release.
Please do let us know if you have other questions or suggestions. Kindest Regards, Htmlstream. Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We do much appreciate it. Please note, Unify Template is not the end product. We highly recommend to compress all files for the production version. In addition, Unify v2.0 includes full SASS files where you may switch off (unlink) unneeded components and use only needed components in the end product.
Moreover, we will include some examples in future updates in our documentation how the end product can be optimized and improved. Please feel free to contact us If you have more questions. Kindest Regards, Htmlstream. Hi Mike, The thing is that Unify 2 has come with support for SASS, which means that following the instructions provided by HtmlStreams team you can strip off the unused css. How I plan to do it is the following: 1) Keep the backbone css (Bootstrap and unify core css) 2) Once I add new components, to include their specific css/js, this will require to recompile the css at every step. NOTE: Once minified the entire CSS file is reduced to about 750kb. If you guys see better options of doing so, please post it here, it's like a forum and the information is very valuable!
Hi @ProduseSoftware, Many thanks for sharing your thoughts! We do much appreciate that!
We also suggest to check out UnCSS GulpJS plugin. It is really great tool to clean unused CSS to make a production ready product. Here is a small article about it: We achieved 14kb CSS out of 1mb CSS file in Unify - Blog and Magazine with GulpJS. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to create more detailed documentation about the optimization. The reason is we were in rush to release Unify v2.0 as there were huge requests about the Unify v2.0 release on promised date. However, we will soon improve and include much more detailed information to Unify documentation. Meanwhile, please feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions or questions.
