Until you map the media, the ISO doesn't mount, does it? I just meant remove that part of the equation to see if it still hangs. Well if I just stare at the screen and do nothing, it doesn't hang. Mapping the drive is the only function that that applet has other than loading the image. The first bit works and it sits indefinitely without crashing and it exits successfully without crashing.
